The trainer's session was really informative, made be more confident in assessing and diagnosis of ADHD - I'm particularly interested in Management as a pharmacist but as NICE outlines pharmacists need to be able to confirm any given diagnosis. I currently work as an Advanced Nurse Practioner (prescriber) in Primary Care with a significant mental health case load. The training was essential in enhencing the understanding of a comprensive approach to management of of ADHD.With the clinical assessment skills i acquired in the previous training, my management skills were augmented in both pharmacological and non pharmacological areas.The training methods were interactive and effective which enabled us to famiiarise with the pharmacokinetics and bioavalabilty of drugs used dring treatment.
