A really informative course, supporting existing learning around ADHD - feeling confident to now use the DIVA-5 appropriately to support assessments and diagnosis.

The full day training with The trainer was informative, clear and engaging. The mix of teaching, group work, a quiz and a mock assessment made it practical and enjoyable. The trainer explained everything well and encouraged questions, making it a great learning experience.

Engaging and Informative

Excellent assessment training. Very in-depth and with lots of additional information for further reading.

The admin leading up to the day was not ideal for me. I had to ask repeatedly to be sent links for the day before they arrived. The day itself was very professional and informative. I enjoyed The trainer's professional approach and insight. The breaks were interestingly timed. It seemed longer and heavier in the afternoon, which possibly needs a rethink for ADHDer and it did go on a long time. But that said I am pleased I attended as I can now diagnose for ADHD and be part of the solution!

A really good course. Goes over all the NICE guidelines as well as the DIVA. Many practical considerations involved in testing ADHD are covered in detail. Would recommend it.

I benefited so much from the two courses completed with Private ADHD. Both have been brilliant at equipping me with a robust and detailed knowledge base on the diagnostic criteria, process of assessment and qualifications to be able to assess ADHD (in addition to Autism and Dyslexia) within an MDT - and with detailed insight into medication and management of ADHD, essential to the services I provide as a Neuroaffirming Consultant and Mentor: pre and post diagnostic support to individuals of all ages, and to families and schools.

A very well organised course. The trainer made is very easy to understand and the DIVA exercise was good to understand the diagnostic criteria.

Good course

The course was very detailed . The tutor explained every stage of the way on how an assessor need to conduct the assessment and focus on the tool we used. The Tutor gave every one of us a chance to interact/participate in groups. I really liked the way the training was done. It was an eye opener in how to conduct an ADHD assessment. The Tutor was partiant and we would ask questions and he explained fully even after the training was over.

A complex, but enjoyable programme. This was more medical focussed on the diagnostic programme, which as a psychologist was less relevant to my day-to-day practice, but this was still very helpful.
