ADHD Assessor Training Course

A complex, but enjoyable programme. This was more medical focussed on the diagnostic programme, which as a psychologist was less relevant to my day-to-day practice, but this was still very helpful.

I benefited so much from the two courses completed with Private ADHD. Both have been brilliant at equipping me with a robust and detailed knowledge base on the diagnostic criteria, process of assessment and qualifications to be able to assess ADHD (in addition to Autism and Dyslexia) within an MDT - and with detailed insight into medication and management of ADHD, essential to the services I provide as a Neuroaffirming Consultant and Mentor: pre and post diagnostic support to individuals of all ages, and to families and schools.

Fantastic course, highly informative and very well run

The training significantly improved my ability to understand ADHD and conduct structured ADHD assessments, interpret rating scale and communicate findings effectively to clients and families. The trainer - the course trainer is quite knowledgeable on the subject.

The management course was excellent and has enhanced my knowledge and understanding of medication management, non pharmacological interventions and longer term management strategies that include monitoring, managing side effects and adjustment of treatment plans.

Coming from a pharmacy background I didn't find this course challenging, however I still found it beneficial particularly the case studies. There was a video of a patient which I found quite difficult to follow perhaps because I was flagging and it was just before lunch. I would recommend this course to all clinicians.

This course provides comprehensive and detailed content on ADHD, presented in a clear and accessible manner. The instructor's delivery style makes complex concepts easy to understand and apply. I've gained valuable insights that have deepened my understanding of ADHD and feel well-equipped with practical knowledge from this program.

It was a great day of training. I found it insightful to understand they symptoms and their presentation in ADHD. Though I thought the course was expensive, at the end of the day, I feel it is totally worth it.

I particularly enjoyed the mock assessment - applying knowledge acquired from the course and using the DIVA. The trainer was great, thank you.

Very informative course. I did find the section on pharmacodynamics difficult to grasp and there was a lot of information about the actual medications for me to take in in the afternoon in such a short space of time. I started lagging toward the end. It would be useful if you could provide a chart that contains all the meds including what line, dose, side effects etc. Thank you

Management session even more enjoyable than diagnosis session! (Personal view: Number of cases done very adequate but wouldn't mind even more as like to do plenty of practical sessions based on real-life scenarios even as a takeaway homework to do on own to challenge & improve though process on titration & various management aspects)
