According to NICE Guideline NG87, ADHD assessments should be carried out by a suitably qualified healthcare professional with the appropriate knowledge, training and clinical competencies. This was a clear, well-structured course that improved my understanding of adult ADHD assessment and differential diagnosis. The clinical examples and emphasis on functional impairment were particularly helpful.
Truly grateful for this course. It has been extremely beneficial and informative. I had concerns that it would be treated like a check box exercise but The trainer demonstrated so much time, care and passion. I am currently working within a prison setting, where I will be conducting my DIVA-5 assessments but I will certainly be looking for a full time role in ADHD assessing.

The training was essential in enhencing the understanding of a comprensive approach to management of of ADHD.With the clinical assessment skills i acquired in the previous training, my management skills were augmented in both pharmacological and non pharmacological areas.The training methods were interactive and effective which enabled us to famiiarise with the pharmacokinetics and bioavalabilty of drugs used dring treatment.

The ADHD training was informative and insightful. I appreciated the level of detail and the effort the facilitator put into explaining the concepts. However, I found that one day (eight hours) wasn’t quite enough to take in all the information because the topic is quite broad and detailed. I’m still in the process of going through the learning materials again to deepen my understanding and reinforce what I’ve learned. Overall, the session was valuable and gave me a good foundation, but I would have benefited from more time to digest and practice the concepts covered.
