Jenny Mather

I am an experienced clinician with advanced assessment, diagnostic and autonomous decision-making skills developed across general practice, offender health and homeless health. I am nurse by background and completing an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice, awaiting my award in Feb 2026. I undertook a quality improvement project designed to improve ADHD medication monitoring, safety and continuity of care. My background includes working with individuals facing homelessness, exploitation, trauma, substance use and significant social vulnerability. This work has strengthened my trauma-informed, person-centred approach and my ability to support people who may have experienced discrimination or barriers within healthcare. Across my roles, I have delivered first-contact care, managed undifferentiated presentations, supported long-term conditions, and led on safeguarding initiatives. I bring a calm, organised and compassionate style to my practice, with a particular interest in neurodiversity and improving access, safety and understanding in ADHD care.
